Meet Martin – from senior consultant to CTO

I assumed the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at ePARK on January 1, 2025. My journey with the company began in April 2024 when I was hired as a senior developer to contribute to several critical areas within development and technology. With a background as a senior system developer, I took on the challenge of strengthening the team, working on both system and app development as well as backend integrations. It was an intense and exciting period that quickly led to greater responsibilities.

My Technical expertise and experience
I have a solid background in system development and product development. Before joining ePARK, I worked at a digital agency in Linköping for four years and served as a senior developer for Polestar. My focus there was on developing products that supported the customer journey—from specification to order and delivery. In 2019, I moved to Motala and continued my career in product companies, including at the digital news outlet Breakit.

What does the role of CTO include?
As CTO, I am now responsible for managing the development team and leading the development of both existing and new digital products. My work revolves around planning and handling incoming tasks, prioritizing two-week sprint cycles, and managing integrations with EV companies and other partners. I am driven by optimizing workflows and creating better technical solutions for our users.

What is the strategy moving forward?
My strategic vision for ePARK focuses on improving processes and creating smart, efficient solutions for end users. Working in a small, skilled, and flexible company has significant advantages. Innovation and quick decision-making make a difference, and I look forward to expanding our offerings and taking ePARK to the next level. It’s a challenge, but one I am eager to take on.

How would you describe the culture at ePARK?
For me, building a strong and inspiring work culture is essential. At ePARK, we have passionate individuals who are highly engaged in their work and deliver impressive results. My goal is to foster a team where everyone thrives and performs at their best. It’s about creating an environment where innovation and development go hand in hand with well-being and enthusiasm.

What do you do in your free time?
Outside of work, I am a dedicated family man. I live in Motala with my wife and our seven-year-old son. Our home is also shared with an energetic Rottweiler who keeps us active. In my spare time, I enjoy watching series and movies—right now, I’m about to finish The Walking Dead. Gaming is another passion of mine, and Hell Let Loose is my go-to game when I want to relax and challenge myself.

Being CTO at ePARK is a journey filled with opportunities and challenges. I look forward to continuing to develop both the company and myself in this role.
