ePARK Group is now participating in Stockholm Parking's pilot project in southern Stockholm to provide a seamless and flexible solution to meet the city's growing demand for electric vehicle (EV) charging.
With support from ePARK's existing integrations, a payment system and parking app can be immediately implemented, allowing users to easily pay for both parking and charging via Swish, card, or invoice.
The project began in October and is currently in the testing phase. Since 2012, CTEK, a major player in EV charging, and ePARK have been providing engine heater controls and EV charging solutions.
From Idea to Operation in 24 Hours
The project is now in full swing in southern Stockholm, offering a unique technical solution for EV charging with high flexibility. The pilot is designed to test a fully integrated solution with Stockholm Parking, enabling rapid implementation – from idea to operation in just 24 hours.
With this solution, Stockholm Parking demonstrates its commitment to creating accessible and user-friendly services for the city's growing EV market.
Unique Backend System
Supported by ePARK's backend system, featuring flexible payment models and grid-balancing support, the system will also contribute to a sustainable electricity market in the future by helping the Swedish National Grid (SVK) balance power capacity. This aligns with ePARK's goal of utilizing AI for load optimization for grid operators.
With this solution, CTEK and Stockholm Parking show their dedication to developing accessible and user-friendly services for the expanding EV market in the city.
