Expanded electric car charging and payment options at Chalmers campus.

In collaboration with Waybler and ePARK, Chalmers has taken a significant step this spring to improve electric vehicle charging opportunities on campus and in nearby areas. The existing charging solution, where Waybler has already been established, has now been upgraded to offer more payment options, better meeting the needs of students, staff, and visitors.

New Payment Options
Previously, payment could only be made through a fixed surcharge on the hourly parking rate. With the new system, users can now be charged based on actual electricity consumption. Additionally, there is the option to pay via both Swish and card, increasing both flexibility and user-friendliness.

Future-Proof Solution for a Growing Electric Vehicle Market
Through the collaboration with Waybler and ePARK, Chalmers strengthens its role as a pioneer in sustainable and innovative electric vehicle solutions.

This initiative is part of the university’s broader goal of creating a more sustainable and user-friendly infrastructure for the rapidly growing electric vehicle market.

The improved charging solution is a clear example of how Chalmers is meeting future needs by combining technology, customer focus, and sustainability. With more payment options and a higher level of service, the campus becomes even more attractive to all visitors.
